Our Story
Foretax was born from a simple observation: most traders are flying blind when it comes to their tax obligations. Adam first discovered this “tax blindness” problem while conducting user research for a wealth-building platform, where he met Ceren. The two began exploring the issue, running research and validation to understand how deeply traders are affected and what a real solution could look like. Conversations with active traders quickly confirmed their assumptions – the problem was real, and the need was urgent.
To build Foretax, Adam partnered with Yuna, a technical powerhouse he had previously worked with at Finleap, and brought his brother on board as a front-end developer to close the engineering loop. Together, they form a lean, dedicated team that complements each other’s strengths – design, product, research, and technology – all moving in sync.
We are driven by the desire to create meaningful work and a product we can be proud of. Our approach is hands-on and humble, yet ambitious: we are bootstrapping Foretax as far as we can to prove the concept, but we’re also open to the right angel investor who wants to join our journey.

Adam Gramse - Founder, Head of CX
Arriving in Berlin in 2014, Adam brought a mix of curiosity, grit, and a passion for solving real problems for real people. With a strong background in online advertising, UX/UI, and product design, he has spent over a decade crafting user-focused solutions – from start-ups like Finleap and Sensos.IO to established brands like Staples Canada. His deep dive into fintech, accounting, and taxation turned from a professional interest into a full-on obsession, driving the creation of Foretax.
As CXO, he ensures every detail – from user experience to complex tax logic – works seamlessly to give traders clarity and confidence.
Adam has twin daughters, a crazy dog and apart from geeking on tax, he likes to geek on fermentation, proofing times and crust.
Yuna Morgenstern - Co Founder, CTO
Our CTO Yuna is a master of automation and architecture, turning tangled legacy systems into streamlined, self-sustaining infrastructures. With deep expertise in Java, TypeScript, and modern frameworks like Spring Boot and NATS.io, she builds automation pipelines that remove inefficiencies with surgical precision. A seasoned open-source contributor and the mind behind tools like the GitHub Workflow IntelliJ plugin, she balances technical brilliance with a fearless, visionary mindset.
Beyond tech, she mentors the next generation of ethical hackers, proving that great engineering is as much about curiosity as it is about code.

Ithai is a battle-tested full-stack developer with a knack for building scalable, user-centric web apps in the finance and tax arena. Fluent in React, TypeScript, and Node.js, he crafts robust solutions powered by Azure, AWS, and Docker—turning complex systems into seamless user experiences.
He thrives under pressure, quickly untangling technical knots and translating bold ideas into real, impactful products. Curious by nature and service-minded at heart, Ithai builds tools that cut through complexity and make financial decisions smarter, faster, and easier.
